It’s Maple Syrup Season!
Have you noticed the warm days are finally longer than the frosty nights? We are in Maple Syrup Season!
Every year between February and April, maple syrup producers throughout our region tap their trees, boil the sap, and invite thousands of people to taste the many products they make from maple syrup—some even invite you to come visit them while tasting!
Savour Ottawa invites you to experience the first truly seasonal taste of the year, and have put together a handy guide to help you explore the various producers in the region. These experiences are designed to help immerse you in the tastes, sounds, and scents of this unique season.*
(*If you’re a local maple syrup producer who’s not on the list, get in touch today via savourottawa@justfood.ca — this is a free service for you!)
